Train order hoops at the Benton Harbor Union Depot in 1971.
Train order hoops were a friend to operators at depots at locations all over the PM. By loading orders onto the arms of the hoops before the train arrived, the oeprator did not need to stand alongside a passing train in cold or wet weather to deliver orders.
