This is a page from a Pere Marquette monthly Per Diem register for September, 1910.
The Per Diem register was used to calculate the Per Diem charges owed to other railroads. This was typically calculated by adding up the number of car-days that a given railroad's cars were on the reporting road's tracks during the month, then multiplying this by a set Per Diem rate.
