Art Million's HO Scale PM Express Boxcar #X-521

 

Art built this model of one of the express boxcars the PM rebuilt from a USRA double-sheathed boxcar in a manner similar to how the PM built theirs. He started with a Silver Streak wood kit for a USRA boxcar, then replaced the side doors with baggage doors, cut doors into the ends, added buffers over the couplers and added steam lines and stirrup steps. The trucks are modified from Model Die Casting Harriman passenger car trucks.
