PM Berkshire #1223 on Display at Grand Haven, Michigan, September, 1996

 

Ex-Pere Marquette Berkshire #1223 on display on the site of the former Grand Trunk Western yard along the Grand River, at the intersection of North Harbor Drive and First Street.

The Pere Marquette 1223 Preservation Committee, working under the auspices of the Tri-Cities Historical Society, spent many years of hard work cosmetically restoring #1223. Presently, #1223 and her consist are a very handsome display.
