A single-sheathed ex-PM boxcar, originally from the series 88350-89349, at the future site of the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso, Michigan in 1985. This car was part of a series of 1,000 cars built in 1927 by Pressed Steel Car Company. Although the C&O renumbered this car following the merger, time has worn the paint enough that its earlier PM lettering is visible to the right of the door. During its later years on the C&O, this car was assigned to company service as a Supply Boxcar, hence the "SB" prefix.
Some time around 2010, the car was determined to be too far gone to be a candidate for successful restoration, and was scrapped.
