PM Caboose #A970 at Wyoming Yard, Circa 1958

 

Well-weathered PM Caboose #A970 at Wyoming Yard, circa 1958. By this time, its lettering was reduced to the basics of road name and number.

Number A970 was built in November, 1941 by St. Louis Car Company. It was regularly assigned to the Grand Rapids area and was retired in the late 1980s.
