PM Caboose #A909 in Owosso, Michigan in 1991

Ex-PM Caboose #A909 sitting along the Tuscola & Saginaw Bay Railway's St. Charles Branch at highway M-21 in Owosso, Michigan. This caboose, built for the PM in 1937, was retired in 1982 and donated by the Chessie System to the Michigan State Trust for Railway Preservation. During #1225's restoration, this caboose served as dormitory space in the TSBY's Owosso Yard for volunteer work crews.

The MSTRP restored it and placed it on display at what was then the boarding site for their "Shiawassee Valley Railroad" excursion program on the TSBY.

It has since been moved to the Steam Railroading Institute's new facility on Washington Street, south of the Shiawassee River in Owosso.
