PM Caboose #A615 at Big Rapids, Michigan in 1939. This caboose was built to a design that was common for the PM's wood cabooses, although the incomplete nature of the remaining records make it impossible to determine just how many of this type the PM owned.
This caboose was sold to the Manistee & North Eastern in November, 1949, where it served as the M&NE's caboose number 17 until the M&NE was merged into the C&O in 1955. It was scrapped at Russell, Kentucky in April, 1959.
