PM Caboose #A557 at Detroit, Michigan in 1939. This caboose was assigned to the Weighmaster, and was usually in the company of the PM's scale testing car, Z-3. This company service assignment helps explain why A557 still has Fox trucks in 1939, since Fox trucks had generally fallen out of favor by the early 1930s.
This caboose still exists, and is preserved at the Shelby Township Parks and Recreation Department Headquarters in Shelby Township, Michigan, though it now sits on the pair of archbar trucks it received later in its service life.
