The PM's original 2-10-2s were pretty small as 2-10-2s go. These fifteen locomotives built by Alco's Dunkirk works in 1918 were small in most major dimensions. Most notable when looking at them broadside were the 33-inch pilot and trailing wheels, which were a good ten inches smaller than most 2-10-2s' of the day.PM SF Class 2-10-2 #1108 is shown here at Grand Rapids in November, 1937.
